Easy, healthy dinner that's tasty.
40 mins.
1) Pre-heat oven to 180'C.
2) Put chopped new potatoes into pan of boiling water, boil for 10 mins (part boil).
3) Wrap chicken breast in bacon and season. Wrap in tin foil ready for oven.
4) Chop peppers into quarters.
5) Heat an oven dish with olive oil salt and pepper. When hot add potatoes and place in oven. Also put chicken in oven at same time. Cook for 20 mins.
6) After 10 mins of previous step put peas into pan of boiling water on the hob and place peppers in with potatoes.
7) 10 mins later plate up with a drink of your choice.

Easy Lasagne
Easy Lasagne that will last foreverrrrrrr!
50 mins.
1) Chop carrots, courgettes and 2 cloves of garlic. (helps if you a flat mate on hand to chop with you)
2) Place 2 diced onions in a hot pan containing olive oil. Soften your onions.
3) Add mince meat stir until brown.
4) Pre-heat oven to 180'C.
5) Add chopped veg to mince, stir and cook for 7 mins.
6) Add jar of tomato sauce (or pasata) stir and leave to simmer for 7-10 mins.
7) Take a oven dish and spoon one layer of the mince mixture in as even as you can (2cm).
8) Lay out pasta sheets over the top covering mince. Add a thin layer of jarred white sauce over that.
9) Then repeat layers once more.
10) Grate cheese over final layer and place in the oven for 30 mins.
11) Plate up with a salad of your choice.
Use whatever veg you want.
Enjoy!

Easy dish to help use up left-overs.
20 mins.

1) Pre-heat oven to 180'C. Prick your potatoe with a fork and place in the microwave for 4 mins.
2) Place potatoe in the oven on a foiled baking tray.
3) With the left-over bolognese place in saucepan and add chopped courgette, dash of chilli powder, chopped chilli and a green pepper. Stir.
4) Cut up side salad of your choice. Dress with balsamic vinegar.
5) Make sure your bolognese is heated through and your potatoe is crispy.
6) Plate up with a drink of your choice.
Use any veg you like. And add as much chilli powder as you like.

15-20 mins
1) Chop veg of your choice and pork into manageable pieces. Wash rice.
2) Put chopped pork into a hot saucepan with olive oil until white.
3) With washed rice pour tap water into pan an inch above the surface of the rice and bring to the boil.
4) As your waiting for rice to boil and veg to pan containing pork and stir.
5) Turn rice to low heat place lid on pan. Leave for 10 mins.
6) Add chicken stock cube, all purpose seasoning, teaspoon of curry powder, beef oxo into veg and pork and stir.
7) Rice should be ready so begin to plate up.
If you do not have the spices or herbs feel free to use anything you have. Just seasoning is fine if you don't like heat.
You can also use and meat and if you prefer noodles.

Student Friendly Roast Dinner
Relatively simple roast dinner (cook with your flat
mates).
50 mins
1) Chop veg and potatoes of your choice. Place potatoes in a pan of boiling water on a medium heat hob and leave to simmer for 20 mins.
2) Pre-heat oven to 180'C
3) Meanwhile place chicken in ceramic dish, season with salt, pepper and herbs if you like. Wrap in tin foil. Leave on the side ready for the oven to heat up.
4) Heat baking tray covered with olive oil in oven until hot. Once potatoes are cooked place in baking tray making sure the potatoes are covered with oil. Put in oven for 30 mins.
5) Place chicken in oven at the same time as potatoes.
6) Put chopped swede (if you like swede) in a pan of boiling water for 25 mins.
7) 10 mins before swede is cooked put the rest of your chopped veg in a pan of boiling water and leave to simmer.
8) Mash swede with butter salt and pepper.
9) Take potatoes and chicken out the oven plate up with veg and swede.
10) Mix the juices from the chicken and vegetable water with gravy granules. Pour oven roast dinner.
Any veg can be used for this roast dinner its just a rough guide.

Healthy, interesting dish using any jar curry you like.
20 mins
1) Chop chicken breast into strips and cut up any veg of your choice.
2) Wash rice place in pan and add cold water until rice is covered and there is an inch of water above the rice.
3) Add chicken to frying pan with hot olive oil until white add veg to pan also- stir.
4) If there is powder included with your curry jar add that to the chicken and the veg now-stir.
5) Once rice is bubbling on a high heat put the lid on and turn to low to simmer for 10 mins.
6) When rice has been on for 5 mins place contents of the curry jar of your choice into the pan with the chicken and veg- stir and leave to simmer until rice is cooked.
7) Plate up with a drink of your choice.
This recipe is just a guide- any meat or veg can be used and for a vegetarian option just exclude the meat altogether.
